Solution Focused Practice (SFP) is the application of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) principles to a wide range of contexts and conversations.

SFBT was developed by Steve de Shazer, Insoo Kim Berg and a team of people working at the Milwaukee based Brief Family Therapy Centre in the 1980s.

SFP is future orientated and yet not ignorant of the past. The past cannot be changed and yet it can be a springboard for developing a preferred future.

It works with the expertise on all sides of the conversation. You are the expert in you. The group are experts about the group. I have some expertise in hosting conversations which will help you to develop and best use your expertise.

SFP is applicable to all human conversation; therapy and coaching, supervision and management, individuals, groups and teams, academic and vocational environments. Anyone and Anywhere.
